EkoNiva opens MoSt session

The summer session of MoSt, the all-Russian agricultural student team Milk Standard, began at Vysokoye dairy in Voronezh oblast on 1 July. For two months, 40 students from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions from seven regions of Russia will do an internship at EkoNivaAgro enterprises.
The young people studying to become veterinarians, herd managers, service technicians and machine operators will master their professional skills at 7 dairies. The project participants will start working as assistants under the careful guidance of EkoNiva specialists. The future veterinarians will practice diagnosing diseases and treating adult animals and young stock. Besides, the young veterinarians and herd managers will learn about the technological processes of milking and feeding cows and the operation of the reproduction and orthopedics departments. The aspiring service technicians will try their hand as machine operators of modern Russian and imported agricultural equipment, as well as carry out its maintenance and repair.
‘This summer, we are opening the 13th session of the Milk Standard student team!’, says Yevgeniy Bezpalov, Manager of the Talent Pool Department at EkoNiva-APK Holding. ‘This time, we will give all the students the opportunity to master new skills related to other agricultural professions. For example, an agronomy student will work as a machine operator. We believe that such on-site training will help students to gain a broader understanding of all production processes at EkoNiva.
MoSt, the all-Russian agricultural student team Milk Standard, was established in 2016. Over the seven years that the MoSt team exists, EkoNiva enterprises have welcomed more than 650 students. Many of them are now working at EkoNiva as full-fledged specialists.
