EkoNiva Group, the largest raw milk producer in Russia, is gearing up for the launch of trades in raw whole cow milk, skimmed milk powder and butter. They will be organised at the National Mercantile Exchange (NAMEX, part of the Moscow Exchange Group).

Stefan Dürr, EkoNiva Group President, unveiled plans to start stock trading in milk in January 2023. Now, the Group has already defined the main terms and conditions for selling its own products, including delivery rules. NAMEX, as the organiser of mercantile exchange, has approved the exchange rules and registered them with the Bank of Russia. The trades will be done by means of exchange auctions, and the first one is scheduled for 2 October 2023.

The bidding will be available for the counterparties of the holding registered on the NAMEX platform and admitted to EkoNiva auctions. Accreditation of buying partners is currently underway.
