The head of the region met with the managers of Voronezh enterprise of EkoNiva Group and praised the company's contribution to the development of the local dairy farming.
Aleksandr Rybenko, EkoNiva’s Regional Director for Voronezh oblast, gave the Governor a tour of the largest dairy facility in Buturlinovka district. Aleksandr Gusev was presented to the cutting-edge solutions used on the farm, as well as the current production performance and social significance of the enterprise.
‘What is really unique about Ozyorki dairy is that it provides 150 jobs for the local population. This is a considerable figure for the village – many of its dwellers can now earn their living and plan the future. Such projects inspire confidence in the bright tomorrow for Russian rural areas’, says Aleksandr Rybenko.
Ozyorki dairy was commissioned in 2020. It has a loose housing system and is equipped with a rotary milking parlour for 72 stalls. The infrastructure of the farm comprises individual hutches for calves of the first months of life, group pens for young stock from three to eight months and feedlots. Currently, the farm houses over 7,000 cows and provides a daily gross milk yield of 115 tonnes of milk. At the end of the visit, the governor and delegation members tasted the dairy products of the EKONIVA brand, noting their excellent natural flavour and high quality.
